Environmental Policy
We have positioned “solutions to social issues” as our universal mission in order to achieve the four visions for society advocated in our 2030 Vision announced in 2021.
Environmental destruction and resource depletion are pressing social issues. We will focus on reducing CO2 emissions and waste, together with other initiatives to protect the environment and reduce the environmental footprint throughout our supply chain.
We will also promote businesses in the renewable energy and resource recycling spaces to contribute to building a sustainable society.
Environmental Policy
1. Response to climate change
We will reduce CO2 emissions in the business activities of the Exeo Group and along the entire supply chain. Meanwhile, we will contribute to the realization of a Net-Zero society through renewable energy initiatives that support a society-wide reductions in emissions.
2. Realization of a circular society
We will help realize a circular society by working on the reduction and appropriate disposal of waste and by promoting the resource saving/recycling business.
3. Preserving biodiversity
We will promote natural conservation activities, reduce the impact of our business activities on
the natural environment, water resource and biodiversity, and seek to preserve them.
4. Compliance with laws and regulations, etc.
We will comply with environmental laws, local ordinances and agreements, agreements with stakeholders, etc. that are related to our business activities.
5. Information disclosure and communication
We will proactively and regularly disclose information related to the environment.
We will also engage in active dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders.
6. Maintenance and improvement of environmental management system
We will set policies and targets for environmental management each business year and will maintain and improve the environmental management system through periodic monitoring and reviews using the PDCA cycle.
7. Education and training
We will enhance the awareness of each employee through environmental education and encourage voluntary environmental activities, such as reducing CO2 emissions.
