November 30, 2022

EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President) announced that Telecom For Basic Human Needs (BHN)* (address: Taito-ku, Tokyo; Hideo Ino, President) has provided training regarding the development of optical access construction engineers to 7 trainees from six countries in Asia (Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, and Sri Lanka) with our employee as a lecturer at the Central Technical Training Center in Wako city, Saitama on November 29 as one of the second-half training activities in the 23rd BHN Human Resource Development Program implemented by BHN.

Through the BHN Human Resource Development Program, BHN provides training for the development of expertise and the acquisition of wide-ranging knowledge, a good sense of balance and international sensibilities to hopeful participating trainees involved in government or operations in the telecommunications field in each country in Asia.

This was the 13th time this training activity was held and the first time for it to be held in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the day, following an orientation, we toured various facilities such as a training room in the building and facilities for aerial construction work using a vehicle for working at heights and on-the-job training including construction work in a manhole. Along with these activities and in addition to our employees' demonstration of optical fiber cable fusion splicing and core wire storage, we provided experience-based training to the trainees.
