EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President) has acquired the international Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)'s certification of the Group's science-based targets (SBTs) for the reduction of GHG emissions to be achieved by 2030 in accordance with the targets of the Paris Agreement.
Four NGOs involved in the disclosure of environmental information, the CDP, the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) collaboratively established the SBTi in 2015.
It is an international initiative to define and promote best practices in scientifically grounded target setting and to use rigorous standards to

- Scope 1 and 2:(*1)43.9% reduction versus FY2020 (reference year) by FY2030
- Scope 3:(*2)25.0% reduction versus FY2020 (reference year) by FY2030
independently evaluate and approve corporate targets.
*1 Scope 1 emissions are direct greenhouse gas emissions by the operator and Scope 2 are indirect GHG emissions resulting from the consumption of energy supplied by other companies.
*2 Scope 3 emissions are GHG emissions throughout the supply chain excluding Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
The Company defined the practice of ESG management as one of the challenges in its 2030 Vision announced in May 2021, and set environmental, social, and governance KPIs, as well as specific targets in Medium-Term Management Plan (2021-2025), which it is working systematically and continuously to achieve.
The Company will engage in eco-friendly business practices, which include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while also working actively to contribute toward solutions for climate-related social issues through businesses such as renewable energy.
