dhost Global, Inc Japan (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Takahiro Wada, President, hereinafter "dhost") has accepted an investment from a fund operated by NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Jun Yasumoto, CEO, hereinafter “NDV”) with the goal of facilitating collaboration with the NTT Group. dhost is affiliated with EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President) and operates an indoor communications infrastructure sharing business.
In Indonesia, dhost establishes shared indoor communications infrastructure using the EXEO Group’s expertise in the development, maintenance and operation of sophisticated communications infrastructure.
It is a leading company with the largest share of sites in Indonesia.
While communication carriers focus management resources on 5G and other growth areas, they are moving forward with controlling investments in indoor communications equipment and sharing this equipment with other carriers with the goal of efficiently expanding service areas. The indoor communications infrastructure sharing business continues to expand around the world.
Following this investment from NDV, dhost will increase its cooperation with the NTT Group and seek to domestically and internationally expand its indoor communications infrastructure sharing business and create new value. As part of this initiative, dhostconcluded a memorandum of understanding with the NTT East Group, aiming to build a partnership in Southeast Asia.
