Opening of X-Base, A New Kansai Branch Office Designed to achieve the aim of turning the medium-rise building into a smart office

EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President) announces that the opening of X-Base B building (Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka), a new Kansai Branch office from July 8. The X-Base A building, where Kansai Branch office has been based until now, and the new X-Base B building constructed under the following five concepts will become a value creation hub and a place to promote the Company's appeal in the Western Japan area. It is a place of co-creation for customers, partner companies and EXEO. It is where EXEO Group companies, currently spread across the Kansai region, will congregate to work in synergy to facilitate new business development.

The X-Base B building, a new office is designed to "think" on its own to ensure comfort and achieve the aim of turning the medium-rise building into a smart office. It has incorporated ICT services offered by EXEO Group companies, including EXOffice (positioning service management system), EXGatekeeper (access control) and APOTORO (visitor management system) so that it can be used as a trial space of new ICT solutions for businesses.
It is a place to experiment with new ways of working fitted to the era of the new normal by allowing workers to choose the best environment from the diverse options available according to need, such as co-working spaces, collaborative spaces, focus spaces and remote working. They are designed to ensure comfort, functionality, innovativeness and playfulness.
To effectively implement its business continuity plan in the event of a disaster, each of X-Base A building and X-Base B building is equipped with emergency backup power, drinking water and domestic water enough to last for three days (72 hours). They are also installed with contactless lighting fixtures, toilets and elevators, and designed to ensure good ventilation. The two buildings are managed centrally to minimize the management cost.
X-Base will be an open, collaborative space for all customers and partner companies. EXEO hopes that they will visit this place to facilitate new business development by sharing ideas and knowledge.
