EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President; hereafter the “Company”) announced today that it held a work experience session requested by Saitama Prefectural Kawaguchi Technical High School. Held to promote students’ understanding of the information and communication industry and as a part of local contribution activities, the work experience session was provided at the Central Engineering Training Center in Wako-shi, Saitama for 33 second-year students (a total of 70 students planned over two days) from the information and communication department of the high school.
This was the 12th time this session was held and the first time for it to be held in four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The session included lectures on the mechanism of telecommunications and initiatives for the National Skills Competition which were taught by the Company’s employees. This was followed by experiencing the latest manufacturing tasks related to communication equipment on site, including hands-on practice fusion splicing and housing optical fiber, a test ride on an elevated work platform, entering a man hole, and hands-on practice making coaxial connectors for TV.
