Winner Engineering Pte. Ltd. Certified as Prefab MEP Specialist by the Singapore Government

EXEO Group, Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Tetsuya Funabashi; hereinafter “the Group”) announces that our subsidiary headquartered in Singapore, Winner Engineering Pte. Ltd. (President & Representative Director: Setsuya Kimura; hereinafter "Winner") was officially certified, on September 1, 2022, as a Prefab MEP Specialist (Prefab MEP MAS Certificate of Accreditation) by STAS (Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore), a government body that provides approvals and certificates to specialists in the industry.

Winner has been working to continue improving its quality control and production processes since it became certified as a specialist in 2021. This time, the company received the official certification following (1) an interview on its track record in DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) construction and (2) an on-site examination of the factory's production functions.

The Singapore government promotes (1) Green Building, (2) DfMA, and (3) IDD (Integrated Digital Delivery) in the construction sector. This certification proves that Winner has been working on high-level DfMA quality control and production processes. Winner will take this certification as an opportunity to strive to realize construction with increased added value in the future.

Winner became our subsidiary in October 2019 and provides services including the installation, manufacturing and maintenance of the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems for new and existing buildings as an equipment work company focusing on ACMV services. In recent years, using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology for designing equipment work, it has been promoting the improvement of on-site work efficiency by employing the construction method (DfMA) , under which, a module including equipment set such as plumbing and air conditioner ducts, etc. are produced at plants in advance, and then is installed on site.

It is a certification system for manufacturers in the fields of prefab machines, electricity and plumbing, which accelerates the (1) Green Building, (2) Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)and (3) Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) that the Singapore government is promoting in the construction sector. The certification assessment focuses on the capabilities, processes and specific quality standards required to produce prefab machines, electricity and plumbing modules.
