Notice Regarding the Conclusion of a Mizuho Eco Finance Loan Agreement with Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

EXEO Group, Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Tetsuya Funabashi; hereinafter “the Group”) announces that today it concluded an agreement regarding a Mizuho Eco Finance environmental assessment-based loan with Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

The Mizuho Eco Finance loan is an environmental assessment-based financial product that Mizuho Bank launched with the goal of facilitating client companies' efforts to adapt to a decarbonized society. Corporate efforts and indexes are rated based on an environmental assessment model developed by Mizuho Research and Technologies, Ltd. incorporating globally reliable environmental certifications and assessments and other criteria. Loans are then provided to companies that have earned ratings above certain levels.

In the 2030 Vision it announced in May 2021, the Group established that the practice of ESG management is one of its initiatives for sustainable growth, while simultaneously establishing specific objectives in terms of the environment, society and governance in the Medium-Term Management Plan (FY2021-FY2025). It has been moving forward with these initiatives in a planned and consistent manner. The Group has also indicated its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate Change-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in December 2021 and has been working actively to disclosure information according to the TCFD framework.
The conclusion of the Mizuho Eco Finance loan agreement reflects Mizuho Research and Technologies, Ltd.'s evaluation that these initiatives have met the high-level metrics used in its environmental assessment model.

The Group will continue to work toward the realization of a sustainable society through the active development of its renewable energy-related businesses while simultaneously practicing environmentally friendly management, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, with an eye toward providing solutions to a range of social challenges including environmental and climate change issues.
