Notice of investment in HeveaConnect, a Digital Trading Platform Operator for Sustainable Natural Rubber

EXEO Group, Inc. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President; hereinafter "the Company") announced that DeClout Pte. Ltd., its subsidiary headquartered in Singapore, invested in HeveaConnect Pte. Ltd. (head office: Singapore; Gerald Tan, CEO; hereinafter "HeveaConnect"), a startup company that operates a sustainable natural rubber trading platform.
The Company believes that its universal mission is to solve social issues as described in the 2030 Vision published in May 2021 and the Medium-Term Management Plan (FY2021-FY2025). Our goals are to connect and combine a variety of engineering innovations, continue working on value creation for sustainable growth and be a business group needed by global society.
The Company will support the natural rubber trading platform built by HeveaConnect using its overseas group companies' technologies for trade compliance, logistics and IoT asset tracking and its expertise in the promotion of cross-border trading. For example, in physical logistics for natural rubber, the Company will improve transparency from the farm to the processing factory through the provision of traceability devices and solutions for the trucks transporting raw materials. The Company will also contribute to energy saving in the production process by providing IoT solutions for electricity and water in factories.
